Today was a Cancer Support Group Day, both at Kaiser Permanente and Cancer Pathways.
At the Kaiser meeting, it was a regular meeting, and nothing special happened. At the Cancer Pathways meeting, I was a bit unnerved, when I was looking up some details on my iPhone, dealing with the Flow Cytometry that was done on me, from my Leukemia, but was asked to put the phone away. The thing was, I was totally paying attention to the person who was talking, at the moment, it was rude to ask me to put my phone away. It was my decision whether or not this was pertinent to the discussion, not the Facilitator's. This isn't the first time I've found that Facilitator to be out-of-line in his comments, and it makes me wonder whether or not I will continue with this meeting. It's sad, but it's up to me whether or not this is disturbing the flow of the discussion, not the Facilitator's. I will have to consider that.
Today I had a problem because I had a schedule conflict. I had a Medical Appointment, and that took precedence over the Cancer Pathways meeting at 1pm. I needed to go to the Medical Appointment.
